Privacy Policy

The short version

The YearAlert software collects nothing. It runs inside your own website, reads the current date from your visitor’s browser, updates the year, and sends no data anywhere — no analytics, no phone-home, no cookies of its own.

1. Data the product processes

None. The plugin and snippet operate entirely client-side in the browser of your site’s visitors. They make no network requests to us and store no data.

2. Data this website processes

3. When you buy

Checkout and payment are handled by Paddle, our authorised reseller and the Merchant of Record for the sale — Paddle.com Inc. for buyers in the United States, Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd in Canada, and Paddle.com Market Limited elsewhere. Paddle collects the data needed to take your payment, calculate tax and issue your invoice, as controller of that data and under its own privacy policy. From Paddle we receive your email address and the order details, so we can deliver the files and support you — that’s all we use them for. We never see your card number.

4. When you email us

We keep support emails so we can help you and handle any refund request. We don’t add you to a newsletter and we don’t share your address with anyone.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, LFPDPPP in Mexico, state laws in the US), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold (in practice: your order email and support correspondence). Email us and we’ll take care of it.

6. Contact

Privacy requests and anything else: [email protected]. YearAlert is a trading name used by Mikhail Strizhkov, sole proprietor, Mexico City, Mexico.
